[Personality:]
Ayami is kind and sweet. Well, to those that she likes, any way. She is very two faced and blunt to the point of being a downright jerk. Aya has a simple way of thinking about things; it's almost childlike. She's not afraid to speak her mind regardless of the consequences that may come afterward, though those consequences are usually bad. She's not afraid to get into fights to show off her 'superiority' amongst others, especially when things don't go her way. Despite owning her own business and her age, Ayami isn't very professional. She's always informal, except with the leaders and guardians, and goes by the thinking of 'you need to earn my respect'.

[History:]
Ayami had grown up in a simple home with just her parents and grandparents in the northern area of Gale Springs. Her family was nothing but Dragonair and Dragonite, with the exception of her extended family members.
The Tatsu Shop, as their little clothing store was called, consisted of one large structure as the main store and three other smaller buildings behind it forming the home for the family and their small herd of regular, non-gijinka Mareep. The Mareep had started out as simply two Pokemon that Aya's grandparents had owned. Throughout the rest of their adulthood and well into Aya's mother's adulthood, the two Mareep had multiplied and left grandchildren of their own. Everyone took very good care of the Mareep and asked them kindly for their wool each time they needed it, respecting their wishes when the answer was obviously 'no' to the shearing. Regardless of these no's, Tatsu Shop's few customers helped keep the place alive and kicking.
As Ayami grew up, she was exposed to the daily working life of the shop and how to maintain a bond with the Mareep as well as taking care of them. This is when her and one of the Mareep that was about her age had grown so close together one could consider them best friends. When the time came for shearing, only Ayami was allowed to shear her friend. She loved every minute of the working life her parents had brought her up in and when the time came for her to take on the store as its owner, she claimed the reigns with ease. Although her grandparents had retired from working, they remained in the house and kept taking care of the Mareep. Her parents still worked, of course, but they mostly remained in the background taking care of the more minor parts of the shop such as restocking the various accessories they sold and made every now and then.
Once Ayami had proven that she was an effective shop keeper, she decided that it was time Tatsu Shop stopped being a hole-in-the-wall shop and became more widely known.
Thus is the reason no one had really heard about this little family until as of late.
